Mailbox Post Painting
The neighborhood mailbox posts will be painted starting next week (9/9). As they move through painting the posts broken posts will be replaced. If you have decorations or flowers around your mailbox post, they will do their best to not disturb them, but if you can relocate those items that would be best. Please email the HOA at decaturridge@hotmail.com if you have any questions.
2024 Annual Meeting
The Annual Meeting is scheduled for Thursday, September 19th at 6pm at the West Newton United Methodist Church (6843 Mendenhall Road). The board currently has three open positions so if you are interested in volunteering, please make sure you attend.

Pond Fountains & Muskrats
Muskrats have damaged wiring for a pond light kit, and your volunteer Board is seeking vendors to assist in removing the muskrats and preventing further damage.
Proposed Leasing Restrictions via Covenant Amendment
Homebuyers planning to lease a property in Decatur Ridge who have questions are advised to consult their attorneys, as the Association cannot provide legal advice. A date for introduction to vote has not been set.
Vandalism Reported
Electrical repairs will be underway soon, and other light sources and locations are being considered following multiple episodes destroying lighting and electrical fixtures at our main entrance.

Street Light Update
UPDATE: AES / IPL came out to continue in preparation for this repair on September 1. They informed us it could take 3-4 weeks to have a new fixture installed.
